Amadou Jaiteh is a distinguished Gambian diplomat and international lawyer who served as the Legal Adviser at the Permanent Mission of The Gambia to the United Nations in New York from 2016 to 2025. Throughout his tenure, he played a central role in shaping the country’s engagement with the international community, leading landmark initiatives in climate justice, peacebuilding, and human rights.
Returning home at a critical juncture, Mr. Jaiteh founded Project P.R.O.G.R.E.S.S. to answer the national yearning for bold, people-centered leadership. His mission is to dismantle systemic inefficiency and build a nation anchored on transparency, accountability, and innovation.
